Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using ZUbirides services. By completing a booking, you agree to be bound by these conditions.

1. Booking & Cancellations

All bookings made through the ZUbirides platform โ€” via website, mobile application, WhatsApp, or telephone โ€” constitute a binding service agreement between the customer and ZUbirides LLC (registered in Dubai, UAE).

Bookings must be made at least 2 hours in advance for standard city transfers and at least 4 hours in advance for airport pickups. Same-day bookings are subject to vehicle and driver availability.

Free cancellation is permitted up to 3 hours before the scheduled pickup time for standard bookings and up to 6 hours before scheduled pickup for airport and inter-emirate transfers.

Cancellations made within the restricted window will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the confirmed booking value. No-shows (failure to appear within 20 minutes of the scheduled pickup time without prior notice) will be charged in full.

ZUbirides reserves the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances including, but not limited to, severe weather events, government-imposed road closures, or force majeure. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund or a complimentary reschedule.

Modifications to pickup time, destination, or vehicle class are permitted up to 2 hours before the booking time, subject to availability and any applicable fare difference.

2. Payment Terms

ZUbirides accepts payment by major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash (AED only). Corporate accounts may be invoiced on NET-30 terms subject to credit approval.

All fares are quoted and charged in UAE Dirhams (AED). International card payments may be subject to foreign exchange fees imposed by your issuing bank; ZUbirides is not responsible for such charges.

Surge pricing may apply during peak periods, UAE public holidays, major events (e.g., Dubai World Cup, GITEX, New Year's Eve), and adverse weather conditions. Customers will be clearly informed of the applicable fare before confirming the booking.

Waiting time charges accrue after a complimentary 10-minute grace period for standard pickups and a 45-minute grace period for airport arrivals (measured from confirmed flight landing). The waiting rate is AED 1.50 per minute.

Tolls (Salik) incurred during the journey are included in all quoted fares unless explicitly stated otherwise. Parking fees at venues are the responsibility of the customer.

Receipts and VAT invoices are issued electronically to the registered email address within 24 hours of trip completion. ZUbirides is VAT-registered in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority requirements (TRN available on request).

3. Premium Driver Conduct & Passenger Responsibilities

All ZUbirides premium drivers are professionally licensed by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai and hold valid UAE driving licenses and professional driver permits. Drivers undergo background verification and regular performance reviews.

Passengers are expected to treat premium drivers with respect. Verbal or physical abuse, harassment, or discriminatory behaviour towards drivers will result in immediate termination of the journey without refund and may be reported to UAE authorities.

Smoking (including vaping and e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited in all ZUbirides vehicles. Consumption of alcohol by passengers is not permitted under UAE law.

A cleaning fee of AED 250โ€“500 will be charged if a passenger soils the vehicle interior. Damage to vehicle fixtures, upholstery, or electronic equipment caused by passengers will be billed at cost of repair.

The maximum passenger capacity stated for each vehicle must not be exceeded. Premium drivers reserve the right to refuse additional passengers beyond the permitted limit in compliance with RTA regulations.

Passengers must wear seatbelts at all times in accordance with UAE traffic law. Child safety seats are available upon request at the time of booking at no additional charge, subject to availability.

4. Liability & Disclaimers

ZUbirides maintains comprehensive vehicle insurance in compliance with UAE Motor Vehicle Insurance requirements. Third-party liability insurance covers all passengers during the course of a booked journey.

ZUbirides is not liable for delays caused by traffic conditions, road accidents, government checkpoints, weather events, or any other circumstances beyond reasonable control. We will communicate proactively if a significant delay is anticipated.

ZUbirides is not responsible for items left in vehicles. Any lost property found by drivers will be held for up to 7 days. Customers may contact our support team to arrange collection. We cannot guarantee the recovery of lost items.

Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim arising from a single booking shall not exceed the total fare paid for that booking, except in cases of personal injury where applicable UAE law governs.

ZUbirides provides no warranty that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the booking platform at any time.

5. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms, or from the use of ZUbirides services, shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. We are committed to resolving customer concerns promptly through our customer support team.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to the Dubai Courts or the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), as appropriate, in accordance with applicable UAE law.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between ZUbirides and the customer with respect to the subject matter herein and supersede all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.

ZUbirides reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on our website with the effective date. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
